Midland College Travel Course to Machu Picchu
A tour led by archaeologist Dr. Ed Barnhart for the students of Dr. Margaret Wade at Midland College, Midland, Texas.
This one week journey to Peru is designed for the students of Midland College to learn about ancient Inca civilization while traveling through the ruins of their once magnificent ancient cities. We'll spend two days in Machu Picchu, but also visit sites in Lima, the Sacred Valley, and Cuzco. Evening and afternoon lectures will compliment the day trips.
