Led by Earth Anicent's Host Cliff Dunning and Archaeologist Ed Barnhart, this 9-day tour will bring you to our planet's most remote ancient ruins - Easter Island.
Participants fly to Santiago, Chile, where we will gather for dinner and orientation, Saturday, March 15.
The following morning (March 16), we travel as a group to the island. Please make flight arrangements on
LATAM Airlines for a 10:55 AM departure from Santiago to Easter Island on March 16 and return on
March 23 at 2:20 PM.
For the next week, from a comfortable
home base hotel in Hanga Roa, the tour group will intensively explore the island's sacred sites. Over the week, the tour will see
hundreds of moai, the quarry where they were carved, cave sites, museums, and much more. Perhaps most importantly, participants will
get to meet the Rapa Nui people themselves and hear about their extensive oral traditions.
